Saddle stitch vs Coil bound booklet
Saddle Stitch Booklet: Saddle stitch booklet is created by folding sheets of paper in half and stapling them along the fold (the spine) to create a binding.

  • Suitable for booklets with fewer pages.
• Disadvantages:
  • Not suitable for booklets with a large number of pages.
  • Pages can come loose with heavy use.

Coil Bound Booklet: Coil bound booklet is created by punching holes along the edge of the pages and then threading a plastic coil through the holes to bind the pages together.

  • Allows the booklet to lay flat when opened.
  • Suitable for booklets with a large number of pages.
• Disadvantages:
